Hi, I had a question about the URL output function. From my understanding, I can use this option to do a simple ftp upload to my web server, where users can access the IOK file.
I have two questions regarding this:
1) can Omniscope create a weblink to my IOK file, similar to the way it does when I use the "publish on my.visokio.com" when I publish it to my website?
2) Is it possible to have a block that will output custom jar files to a web server?
Thanks for the questions. In regards to your first question, if you publish to your website Omniscope will not create a weblink. It will upload the data only. You need to speak to your website administrator, as there may be an address you can upload to that creates a link automatically.
Regarding your second question. At the current moment in time, there is no DataManager block that allows you to create a customjar jar to a file server.
However, if you have a Server edition of Omniscope then you can use the "Save Custom Jar" action to create customised jar and publish it onto a Web server.
I have posted this as an Idea, please vote for it over here to increase the chance of this being implemented in a future version of Omniscope.
