We would like to create a scatter graph with total income on the Y axis and EC on the X axis. Where the value on the axis is limited, without losing the outliers (what happens when using the zoom function).
Is there a way to only show a specific part of your data set and show all the outliers on the max of your range?
Hi Ellen, There are few things you can try. When the whole data set is on the same graph, scale on the axis will automatically stretch to fit the whole data set, including the outliers. If after that you want to zoom in and view just a particular subset - you can use zoom select tool and select the data points on your graph. The scale will re-size to show more detail for that subset and, if outliers are excluded from the selection, 'resolution' will improve. If option Subset:Selected data is chosen as input - your graph will respond to the Table View selection too, so you could Sort data by Total Income field, and select records in the table that you want to study in more detail.
