DataManager: "Field metadata" operation (2.8+)

New in 2.8: the "Field metadata" operation.

This is a very simple operation currently without any configuration options. For every input field, it creates an output record describing that field, with attributes such as Name, Type, Min, Max, etc.

Not possible. The data flowing into an operation is pure data - irrespective of whether it comes from a database or an IOK file.

It would be useful also to output the source file if a source is configured whether file system or URL.

Again, not possible for this feature; data flowing into the block is pure data and metadata about those cells, and not about some properties of source(s) upstream.

Possible for both the other linked features, though - one of which should work instead.
