Server has 8GB RAM, but is using only 3 when error pops up. When opening the iok file that scheduler cannot handle, everything is fine. 9 mio records (15 fields) are loaded without a problem. When using the scheduler, the 9 mio records are not loaded. Is there a limit within the scheduler on RAM or something?

Sure. Meanwhile also make sure you don't have two versions of Omniscope installed (one to program files, one to user profile) and are editing the wrong configuration.
Update: Mees' issue was a glitch in the installation of 2.6 where the scheduler was configured to launch in 32-bit mode despite 64-bit being chosen in the installer. It was resolved for Mees by editing installconfig.properties. We will be fixing this issue in the installer shortly.
Mees, I have been unable to reproduce the problem where the installconfig.properties was not being changed when you choosing 64-bit from the installer.
