Idea: Bar/Line View - Trend Line?

Hi Visokio, After some conversations with our reporting end users they would like to see a trend line added to the Bar/Line view. Would it be possible to add a trend line that could be based on one or more of the measures? Almost like the version 2.6 functionality of the line graph, just added to 2.7 Bar/Line view?

Thanks for the idea; we won't be able to do this for 2.7, but you may be able to achieve this using formulas and overlaying the result as a line.

thanks for the details. Can you please give us an Idea on how we can create a formula for this trend lines. I have already posted a new chain so please reply on that or ignore that one.

Add a measure of type "Formula". For a horizontal line at Y value 5, simply use the value "5" in the formula. Otherwise post your file here with a description of what kind of trend line you need.
