Batch Append Refresh from free Viewer

I am using the "batch append file" source block. As soon as I add a new Excel file into my "source folder" and open the IOK file with the full Omniscope version, the IOK file refreshes after my agreement. Is the automatic refresh option on change in data source also available for the free Viewer user? Thanks, Matylda

No, refresh from Excel or folders of Excel files is only permitted in activated Desktop and Server/Serverplus installations.
Alternatively, if you have a ServerPlus edition, you can create IOK files which WILL refresh from other 'upstream' (usually server-side) source IOK files in the free Viewer. You can use the Scheduler running on the server to automate the updating of the master Report IOK files from the (growing) folder of time-sliced Excel files.
