Pivot View: Colouring and Opacity of Backgrounds

I've set Transparent Background on the pivot table in the attached page, which is using the Dashboard preset style. I'd really like to be able to colour the let the background show through the table and to colour the text appropriately for this style. Currently it looks a bit ugly. I don't think that it's possible to select the opacity and colours of the Pivot table and have entered this as an idea, but I'd be delighted to be corrected.

Pivot View 2 will be available in verson 2.8+ and it should have much more flexibility in this regard. Stay tuned.

Hi, is it possible to set a transparent background in the Tables within the Content view? Now there is only the chance of having certain colors applied, I would like the background to be seen. Thank you.

Hi Juan,

Tables in the Content view are transparent.

If you want to remove the borders then you need to put the text cursor to the table.
Then go to the Table menu and choose Edit table border.

Hi, true. But when you apply a color to the background of the table, I just cant go back and get a transparent one again. I have a big table now and to rebuild it will take some time. How can I apply the transparent background after I applied a color?

Make sure that you have a backup of your file,
then switch to the source mode,

then find your <table tag and remove the text fragment with background parameter: bgcolor="#....."
