Only show fields with data when user views details of data in views

Hi, it would be very useful to only show fields with data when you right-click a line/bar and click "show details".

Currently, many irrelevant fields are shown with null values when viewing details.

Alk - this is possible...from any Details pop-up go:

Configure > and tick hide blank values

use the options at bottom to apply this to pop-ups on all tabs, and also to the Details View (when visible in a tab)

Hi Tom, thanks for the prompt reply.

As I understand, this is for individual records.

Is this possible for when you view details for many records at the same time (and you see a popout table)?

So, in the multi-record details popup, you want it to automatically hide completely empty columns. I've reclassified this as an Idea.

Bringing this up again with some more enhancement requests.

In the multi-record details pop-up, it would be useful to be able to configure the view just like the single-record details pop-up, where we can choose the fields to be shown, add headers, re-size and save that as a template.

It would be good to be able to save a template per view.

Indranil - there IS a way to do this on a tab-by-tab basis. Use Add View to add a floating Table View (use the little icon on the far right of the Add View drop-down meu to specify a floating Table View). Configure this floating Table View as you would like multi-record Details Pop-ups to show. Then delete the floating Table View. These last-configured view Table View settings on the Tab will be used as the template for the future multi-record pop-ups on this Tab.
