Connectors: DoubleClick sun-setting Java API?

I got a message that DoubleClick will be changing some of the parts of the Java API. Will this effect the functionality of Omniscope in any way? Below is the full message from DoubleClick:
    Dear DFA Customer,

We understand that you are a frequent user of the DART Java API and are currently using a version that will soon be deprecated. The Java DART API, long the bread and butter of integrating with our ReportCentral service, has a large range of versions currently in use. We are going to begin enforcing a minimum version requirement on this API on November 3rd, 2012. At this time, clients must be using one of the newest versions of the Java DART API -- version 13.4, version 13.6, or version 13.8.

We recommend you take this opportunity to consider the new DFA Reporting API. The DFA Reporting API is a language-neutral REST API that offers programmatic access to the same reports as can be generated through the DFA Reporting user interface. Along with improved speed and performance, the new API will allow you to create, edit, and schedule Standard reports. We will continue to launch additional features to the new DFA Reporting API over the next few months.

Please update your DART Java API version as soon as possible to ensure uninterrupted access. If you have any questions, please email

Are there any plans to integrate with the new Report Builder (instead of Report Central)?

    Hi Howard,

Can you describe how you would see this working inside Omniscope?

    Hi Chris,

There are a few new reports and additional metrics and dimensions to the current reports. If there was an option to pull in the new interface from the Feeds dialog box, that would be great.

In addition, the new system downloads data much faster!

    Hi Howard,

Unfortunately we are not very familiar with the DoubleClick interface. What additional options does the "new interface" provide? What additional metrics/dimensions do you need. The more specific you can be, the better. For example:

    A dropdown to select XXXX
    A checkbox to choose XXXX

It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!
