I have a pivot view with various colours in it. My problem is that the labels in the dark colours are being shown in black and are therefore illegible.

Is there something I can do about this?

Thanks
Phillipa

It would be great to be able to export the value colours as well as the value order as a re-usable import file.

Thanks

Pivot View: Styling not expressed in browser versions? http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2899/pivot-view-styling-not-expressed-in-browser-versionss Wed, 01 Apr 2015 03:59:08 -0400 alexandervolk 2899@/discussions Display: Setting background colors in views? http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2869/display-setting-background-colors-in-viewss Wed, 11 Mar 2015 12:06:53 -0400 Avizua 2869@/discussions It would be great to have the choice to color background of each view.
For example, I have several table views with aggregated data on a tab. And I'd like to have different background color.

Is it possible to insert an background image in some views (ex : in a pie view). I sometimes insert an image (only one color), to color the background. But it is not possible in Table View... and it would be better to select a color directly in the menu.

Idea: Publishing-Open new file with 'Client X' styling applied? http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2848/idea-publishing-open-new-file-with-client-x-styling-applieds Tue, 17 Feb 2015 12:42:01 -0500 CRead 2848@/discussions
I am aware of %AppData%\Local\Visokio\Omniscope\UserThemes\for saved tab themes.
I am also aware of being able to distribute ILF files to add to %AppData%\Local\Visokio\Omniscope\LayoutModes.xml

If you open a new Omniscope window, currently there are two 'new file' opening options - DataManager workspace and DataExplorer workspace, but it would be nice to have the option to open a new (Client 1) file. Perhaps in the space available next to Demos?

I would like a default Client 1file to open with:
- a default cover
- a style guide tab listing colours, fonts etc.
- a tab with some sample views showing the general design approach for that client
- a checklist tab specific to the client e.g. check at 1024*768 resolution
- CategoryDataColourPresets and ContinuousDataColourPresets presets reflecting the style guide
- adding a new tab would have other style compliant options for that client (not just blank/text only/ datamanager)
- the file would include some of the default images already loaded in (e.g. logos)

The benefit of this would be that the files which we deliver would be more consistent, and it would be much less effort per file to ensure that basic things like title sizes are acceptable to clients who have to work with smaller screens.

Ideally, the default Client 1 file would be hosted on our network share / intranet so that the master file could be kept up to date, and not installed per machine. Having a pointer in installconfig.properties might be a good way to manage the mapping.]]>
Styling: Setting Data Colours to match corporate standards http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2765/styling-setting-data-colours-to-match-corporate-standards Mon, 24 Nov 2014 10:38:03 -0500 StefanikovaI 2765@/discussions
I have a problem in Omniscope and question for you.
I need to set our corporate color in Omniscope.

Can you help me with this?
I need to have every color column in our color based on RGB. Not only one base colour.

Thank you very much for your advice.

Styling & Branding tips: Setting up styles and presets 2.9+ http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2745/styling-branding-tips-setting-up-styles-and-presets-2.9- Thu, 16 Oct 2014 09:24:18 -0400 daniel 2745@/discussions
Attached are two examples of .ILF styling files which are files you simply click and run in Omniscope to add these styling sets to your own installation and menus. These will automatically prompt you to save them into your style list where you can apply them onto any tab.

I have also included a XML file for presets, you have to import this file into your preset menu (see images 1 & 2) and make sure to apply to application wide setting so that it is saved to your Omniscope installation. Once installed the new presets will appear within the menu (image 3).

Styling: Customising Sidebar devices? http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2658/styling-customising-sidebar-devicess Thu, 24 Jul 2014 10:12:23 -0400 alexandervolk 2658@/discussions
We're trying to adapt as much of our company's CI into our Omniscope dashboards. It's working great so far except for devices. If there's an option to change font face, size and color for filter devices in the right sidebar or otherwise style them, I seem to have missed it.

Can anyone let me know if that is even possible?

Thanks!]]>

Idea: Styling - Sharing XML styles w/custom colour pallettes? http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/1935/idea-styling-sharing-xml-styles-wcustom-colour-pallettess Mon, 03 Dec 2012 12:50:46 -0500 OmarKhan 1935@/discussions
I would like to propose two things:

1.) It should be possible to export a defined custom XML Style file directly from an unlocked IOK file and automatically import/save it to the local installation...no need for others to have privileges to look and copy directly in installation files and circulate XML files to everyone by email attachment.

2.) Custom colour ranges and related colour picker default pallette options should be added to the Style schema in the XML style file, such that these settings can also be automatically exported to the local installation from any unlocked IOK Report file.

I attach some screenshots relating to the points above.

The question: can Omniscope's bars, pies, etc be configured so they're a little more pleasing to the eye. Similar to what Xcelsius pumps out or like LinkedIn's poll visualisations e.g. http://polls.linkedin.com/poll-results/31245/xmwrk (animated, soft on the edges/eyes, etc).

This customer, by the way, is an Xcelsius user...and, like many businesses, has grown comfortable with its slickness, but needs greater flexibility.]]>
