Hosting Mobile Reports on Amazon EC2

I am experimenting with hosting Omniscope Server on Amazon EC2 platform. However I was wondering if there is a step by step guide available?

I have managed to successfully set up an EC2 Instance and install Omniscope, however I'm struggling to 'see' the report from outside the EC2 Ecosystem. I'm keen to test 2.9 Server but also see how 3.0 performs

Does anyone have any advice (FYI I have created an instance using Windows server 2016)

On a separate note, how have people found the performance of EC2 at processing mobile reports? I like the idea of auto scaling if demand peaks

Bar view label behaviour differs between desktop and mobile

I have tried to set up colours of each measure individually in the view, but in the mobile version all measures would be again just white.
I have changed Colour: By measure layer (and also tried all other options) but this doesn't seem to work.
I have also tried to set up each stack as a separate measure in the view, but the client is not happy with that solution.

I think it is an Omniscope bug.

Did anyone had a similar problem? ]]>

I have an omniscope file that I would to share as an interactive dashboard. I thought that the best way to do this would be as a web page. Could you please advise the best way to do this?

Automatically reloading upon receiving an authentication failed response

You can enable this by ticking "Reload on AJAX auth fail" in the Omniscope Web server configuration dialog.

Alternatively, edit the server's config.xml file:

Data subsets: Turning of selection brushing in mobile

I tried turning off selection brushing, however this does not appear to work when viewing the mobile version of the file. I also tried de-querying by the splits used in the other views in the tab, but this also did not seem to work in mobile.

Is there currently a way to ensure that a view is affected by filtering but not by selection that works for mobile reports?]]>

Also could a note be added on the page regarding the webstart launch and that it may work due to default of Java being blocked on most browsers?
