http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/3184/default-function-for-data-fields
Thu, 03 Nov 2016 06:25:55 -0400bfromson13184@/discussions If "mean" is chosen as the function, is there a way to specify a weighting field, as would be possible when directly applying a function to the field in a table. If not could this be added?
Thanks,
Bernard

http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2791/idea-defining-default-weighting-fields-for-each-columns
Wed, 17 Dec 2014 05:32:00 -0500Mees2791@/discussions I have a Bar/Line View where I measure averages.
Defining on which field to weight the average is working fine, but when we switch the value to another field, Omniscope loses the weighting of the initial field. Going back to the initial value measure, we have to set the weighting again. This is not ideal as we want our users not to worry about this.
Would it be possible to define the weighting settings per field in the Field Settings (the Ctrl+F menu, not sure what the English menu name is)
Many thanks

Wed, 10 Sep 2014 06:35:45 -0400triptiagarwal2709@/discussionsIn a Table view if I aggregate it to one column and for all other columns I am calculating the mean, can I restrict the result to only two decimal places? As of now it is showing mean value up to 6 decimal places.]]>Refresh: Maintaining value sort orders/shapes?
http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2224/refresh-maintaining-value-sort-ordersshapess
Wed, 03 Jul 2013 06:28:01 -0400Alfonso2224@/discussions I'm using Data > Manage Fields > {field options}> Value order colours & shapes
It works fine during a session, but when I do data refresh the order disappear, and also the colours and shapes settings, because new data comes in. (I'm using a cache deletion in the data refresh...)
Is there any method to maintain the order and marker shape settings I made before the refresh?.

Tue, 23 Oct 2012 06:56:47 -0400alec_webliquid1853@/discussions Incidentally Visokio, this happens even when 'Preserve upper/lower case of field name' is selected in the Manage Fields menu. Cheers]]>Display: Data > Manage Fields: Show/hide field status does not update?

http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/1645/manage-fieldschanging-field-namess
Wed, 11 Jul 2012 10:58:41 -0400Phillipa1645@/discussions I am creating a portfolio view in the Graph View and can't find where I can change the varible names on the X and Y axes. In the Bar charts it is easy to rename the variables.
Is there something I am overlooking or is it possible to change the field name in "Manage Fields" under "data" without all the other views being thrown out of whack.
What I really want to know is if I change the name in "Manage Fields", will it automatically update in the other views?
Thanks in advance. Phillipa ]]>Manage Fields - Duplicate fields (2.7+)
