I am aware that this option exists but what the clients really want is aggregated data in a format similar to a pivot table.

When I export from the pivot table to excel I get aggregated data but cannot restrict which fields are exported.
This results in unneccessary fields, which are often meaningless as they contain "no value" as there is no unique single answer due to aggregation.
This is not very intuitive for our clients.

Ideally I would like to be able to reproduce a pivot table view in an excel table.

Can anyone help me with this problem?
Thanks for any advice.

Bar View: Exporting aggregated data as table? http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2826/bar-view-exporting-aggregated-data-as-tables Thu, 22 Jan 2015 05:35:22 -0500 alex7thompson 2826@/discussions
For instance consider the attached image. It would be useful to be able to get the percentages per month as just 25 rows of data rather than only being able to export raw data.

Thanks

This option can be enabled from Desktop Edition or from the Server interface.

Desktop steps:
Settings>Web sharing>Edit client settings>Server settings Edit>Export view data

Server steps:
From the Omniscope Web Server Services screen>Config>Permissions>Default Folder Config> Anonymous permissions>Export view data

This option will enable all recipients to export data from their browser. If you wish to customise this further and enable it only for certain groups of users, please create Groups settings (as per image).

Export: View data from browser versions http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2418/export-view-data-from-browser-versions Wed, 04 Dec 2013 12:40:26 -0500 richard 2418@/discussions
To enable this functionality for all files, launch Omniscope Server and navigate to Mobile Web Server > Config > Default folder configuration > Edit > Anonymous permission > Edit. On the permissions dialogue box (shown below) turn on Export view data.

All views will now display a button for exporting their underlying dataset. The output dataset will respect any aggregation settings configured in the view.
