I tried turning off selection brushing, however this does not appear to work when viewing the mobile version of the file. I also tried de-querying by the splits used in the other views in the tab, but this also did not seem to work in mobile.

Is there currently a way to ensure that a view is affected by filtering but not by selection that works for mobile reports?]]>
Subset formulas - calculating % of Total per category http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/3126/subset-formulas-calculating-of-total-per-category Thu, 12 May 2016 11:34:25 -0400 MPatel 3126@/discussions
I have survey data and i want to show data by the percentage of control and exposed respondents. The data is categorical.

Column A; Column B; Column C
Respondent 1 ; Control; Competitor A
Respondent 2 ; Control; Competitor B
Respondent 3 ; Exposed; Competitor C
Respondent 4 ; Exposed; Competitor A
Respondent 5 ; Exposed; Competitor B
Respondent 6 ; Exposed; Competitor C

The chart needs to show two bars for Competitor A, one control and one exposed. Control would be 50%, Exposed would be 25%. For competitor B it would show Control 50%, Exposed 25%. For competitor C it would show Control 0%, Exposed 50%.

Any idea how to do this??]]>
Content View: Insert Multiple Subset Record Count into 1 Table? http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2598/content-view-insert-multiple-subset-record-count-into-1-tables Thu, 12 Jun 2014 04:56:00 -0400 MattBoxall 2598@/discussions
I have multiple source excels plugged into Omni, I've filtered them to get the desired numbers and then saved them as 3 queries.

"Number of Plans"
"Number of New Plans"
"Number of Closed Plans"

I'm currently making a table in Content View where a cell has a function inserted that will do RECORDCOUNT(SUBSET) and return the filtered number from my query selected, which works when the query is selected via data subset selection. i.e. Subset: "Number of Plans".

I was wondering how to get all 3 query numbers into one content view via a table/3 cells as I can only insert a formula recordcount(subset) and I don't know how to reference other queries.

currently I have got 1 content view per query and it looks a bit separated.
Much thanks,
Matt]]>
Formulae: Subset functions http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2527/formulae-subset-functions Wed, 23 Apr 2014 07:41:25 -0400 Valentina 2527@/discussions
I am trying to use subset functions to do the following but it seems that more functions are needed.

I have a column with ID's and another column showing the steps of the ID. The Temp column shows the temperature of the ID at each step. Ideally I want to create a fourth column (like First step temp below) showing the temperature of the First Step only, across all same ID cells.

Hope it makes sense. Any ideas are welcomed. Thanks

ID Steps Temp First step temp
A First Warm Warm
A Middle Cool Warm
A Last Warm Warm
B First Warm Warm
B Last Warm Warm
C First Cool Cool
C Middle Cool Cool
C Middle Warm Cool
C Last Cool Cool]]>
Formulae: Subset Functions - conditionality? http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2314/formulae-subset-functions-conditionalitys Tue, 10 Sep 2013 03:27:47 -0400 davedunckley 2314@/discussions
What I would like to be able to do is to work out the total per charterer in the last 52 weeks.

I have created a field called [islast52] that gives me a 'y' or 'n' depending. Then I am trying the following to get the results. However, I cant quite get it right. Some help would be great.

SUBSET_SUM([Total USD Fixture], SUBSET([Charterer.fixture]),
subset([IsLast52.fixture],"y","=")))

Thanks, Dave

Idea: Filtering - Show only Named Query subset values? http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2078/idea-filtering-show-only-named-query-subset-valuess Tue, 02 Apr 2013 07:09:23 -0400 Alexander 2078@/discussions
Also the auto-complete filtering suggests values that are not valid for that tab as these values are not part of the selected subsets and queries applied on the views of the tab.

I would like to set up the dashboards such that the Sidebar filter devices are based only on the intersection of all named queries applied to views on the tab. Is there a setting that I missed or is this not possible (yet)?]]>
Outputs: Exporting subsets into spreadsheets? http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/1864/outputs-exporting-subsets-into-spreadsheetss- Thu, 25 Oct 2012 05:08:36 -0400 ZhouNan 1864@/discussions
File > Export > Create Excel Spreadsheet

It allows me to choose which fields/columns to be exported but not to select the subset of rows that come from each differnent source. Because the file contains multiple data sources, there are many unrelated and empty fields exported with the filtered-in subset which are hard for user to process in Excel.

Is there a way to export only the rows/columns that come from the same data source? ]]>
Subset Function: Unique combinations of two fields? http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/1715/subset-function-unique-combinations-of-two-fieldss Fri, 17 Aug 2012 07:37:57 -0400 Alexander 1715@/discussions
I get the following message:

Cannot use field value references. This formula is evaluated in the context of multiple records, without any specific individual record. You must identify the summary function, such as: SUBSET_SUM([locplaats]) or SUBSET_MEAN([locplaats]). If using SUBSET([locplaats]), you must specify at least 2 arguments, such as SUBSET([locplaats], "Required value").

I think this is a bug, or I am doing something completely wrong. Please advise... Thanks! (Running 2.7 b413)

Export: Exporting this view's data subset? http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/1437/export-exporting-this-views-data-subsets Fri, 30 Mar 2012 04:18:43 -0400 naruemon 1437@/discussions Help with Subset Function http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/1386/help-with-subset-function Tue, 13 Mar 2012 02:28:01 -0400 vijay_chidambaram 1386@/discussions
I am facing a little trouble in implementing Subsets and Filters in this particular situation.
image
In the above (or attached) screenshot, when I select Quarter 4 from the side filter, Omniscope subsets all the data under Quarter 4 and applies it to all the above four views. But in the first view, which is a content view (marked with red star), I need to show the results of current quarter, previous quarter and have to calculate the difference in percentage between the two quarters. I tried various different methods to implement it but nothing worked for me. Could you please suggest me a solution to implement this. I have also sent the IOK file to support@visokio.com.

Thanks

Kind Regards
