http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/3251/data-manager-dates-coming-out-wrong-in-a-csv
Fri, 16 Jun 2017 09:58:03 -0400JohnMR3251@/discussionsI've created a file that has dates info. When I pull the dates in the UK format (dd/MM/yyyy) everything is fine but if I use the field organiser to change to US format (MM/dd/yyyy) the csv date column is half in dates (if you use show formula it's a number like 42045) but half is no dates (if you go to show formulas it's 02/10/2015). Why is this happening? It doesn't happen if I use UK dates. Thanks, John.]]>Google Adwords - Importing their CSV output into Omniscope
http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2951/google-adwords-importing-their-csv-output-into-omniscope
Mon, 08 Jun 2015 06:50:51 -0400daniel2951@/discussions The csvs won't load just by dragging and loading in the DataManager space and results in the data coming out with weird symbols. This is because the csvs follow a different set of encoding, you will have to amend this by selecting "UTF-16LE" and change the separator value to "\t". Also make sure to set the Header row accordingly (should be 6, this may vary).
See image below for what the configuration looks like, you can use the "Batch Append File" too but do check to make sure that the header rows are always on the same row number for each file.

http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2474/export-remove-thousands-separator-when-outputting-csvs

When outputting CSVs from Omniscope, could there please be a option which removes the thousand separator in numbers so that quoting the numbers to enclose the separator commas within a comma de-limited file is not necessary?

Wed, 04 Dec 2013 12:40:26 -0500richard2418@/discussions To enable this functionality for all files, launch Omniscope Server and navigate to Mobile Web Server > Config > Default folder configuration > Edit > Anonymous permission > Edit. On the permissions dialogue box (shown below) turn on Export view data.
All views will now display a button for exporting their underlying dataset. The output dataset will respect any aggregation settings configured in the view.

http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2400/performance-importing-from-csv...any-memory-guideliness
Fri, 08 Nov 2013 12:59:58 -0500cmollo2400@/discussions I have read other posts about users processing more than 5.4 million records, so I think it is quite possible for Ominscope to process this large file I have, right?
My main question is: are there any guidelines on how much memory Omniscope needs as a function of records/fields. I realize this is probably one of those many "it depends" situations, but even rough guidelines (+/- 1 or 2 GB) would help.
If there are no guidelines, can I send you my .iok file (there are only 6 blocks: a File Source block, 3 Field Organizer blocks, a Record Filter block, and a Expand Values block) and a sample of the input file, which you can expand to about 5 million records (or I can ftp the whole file), and you can run it and let me know how much memory Omniscope uses?
Thanks! Chris ]]>Data locale: Float localization when importing from CSV

Mon, 23 May 2011 05:24:52 -0400fjuan788@/discussions I'd like to merge data into an omniscope file from a CSV file with this format:
Everything goes perfect when I'm using the English locaized version but number's are not correctly imported on the Spanish one as the dot is completly ignored
Is there an CSV standard format that visokio understand in any localization?
