http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/3261/data-manager-exporting-multiple-.iok-files-to-.xls
Tue, 01 Aug 2017 07:36:58 -0400tron053261@/discussions My level of understanding Visokio is very basic. I have a limited use for visokio and am hoping a solution to the below stated problem exists. I use Visokio Omniscope 2.9 viewer. Problem: A set of *.iok files are published to a folder. I need to export each of the .iok files to .xls and load the .xls files to a database. Currently I go into each iok file and go through the general export process from File menu. I was wondering if there was a automated way to export all iok files to xls. Is it possible to automate the process with a batch script? Thanks for any help! ]]>Batch Output for Excel - Specify Starting Row/Column

Wed, 03 Feb 2016 11:11:49 -0500OliverB3087@/discussionsLast year we had a request to add some functionality to the batch config file so that when publishing to excel, we could use the Replace Data/Replace Worksheet/Overwrite data etc functionality that the individual data manager output blocks have . This was implemented and works very well.
One other functionality that the data manager file output block has that doesn't appear to be available in the batch config files is to be able to specify a row or column to start inserting the data at. Would it be possible to add this functionality to the batch config file as well? Thanks

http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2970/dial-view-rendering-issue-when-publishing-batch-output-pdfs
Thu, 16 Jul 2015 08:59:27 -0400OliverB2970@/discussionsI am having an issue when including a Dial view in a report that I use a batch output to export to PDFs. The dial looks good in omniscope, but the dial is often very small when published to PDF.
I believe that the issue may be caused by the dial animation when the tab opens. The screenshot happens before the dial has completely opened and therefore is captured only half open. Every now and again it does work, but most of the time it doesn't.
There doesn't seem to be an option to disable the dial view animation on tab open. I have tried changing two settings but this doesn't seem to have had an effect 1. Advanced>Performance>Use Open/Close Animation - Turned this off 2. Advanced>Miscellaneous>Web View Grab Screenshots Delay - Increased to 5 seconds and no improvement seen
Is there a way to remove the animations from the dial view, or force the batch output to wait for it to be fully opened before taking the screenshot?
My omniscope version is 2.9-[Hotfix_BatchPublishMethod] b1642

Mon, 10 Aug 2015 08:30:22 -0400OliverB2983@/discussions One of our clients is looking at the possibility of opening up access to Omniscope Mobile reports to a wider group of users. Their business is split into a number of different Business Areas, and every report has the ability to filter to just show data for a specified Business Area.
The current users are all authorised to view data for the entire business. However, the users that they want to open the reports up to will only be authorised to see the data for the business area that they belong to. All access is currently via the Liferay Omniscope portlet. Has anyone done anything similar before, and what would be the best way to go about implementing this?]]>Batch Output: Screenshot/PDF outputs in A4 portrait layout?

http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2954/idea-batch-publishing-optimising-for-high-publishing-volumess
Wed, 10 Jun 2015 10:39:29 -0400Alexander2954@/discussions We publish a lot of PDF files, but as the number of PDF files we have to generate is growing we are investigating the best way to publish 100+ PDF files.
When using a batch output to generate 100 PDF files, Omniscope opens the template file 100 times, that also means the data is loaded 100 times and 100 times a PDF is generated.
As the opening of the template file and loading of the data takes almost a minute per file, we would like to speed up the proces. If we could keep the template file open (with the data loaded) then omniscope could generate the same 100 pdf files is less time.
Is this yet possible or is there a good workaround?
Please advice!
Thanks!

Wed, 22 Jan 2014 10:23:00 -0500Alexander2451@/discussions I get an error in one of our schedulers. The error is "DUMP BUG HANDLER Header Foutrapport Message Unable to re-parse: time -262800000 s 196901 f yyyyww"
This causes the batch output to skip files that needed to be generated. All PDF files that need to be published in this tasks are skipped.
Please advise asap.

The user would first define a map (or chart, table, etc.) showing all sales people territories, with customer markers etc. They would then activate split file to auto group by sales person. They would then have the option to either auto generate new tabs - each showing a specific sales territory map and customers and analysis relating to that territory - and/or generate multi-page output, without needing further selection. ]]>Outputs: Automated publishing of PDF to mobile devices?

Tue, 02 Oct 2012 08:29:39 -0400ken1806@/discussions I then have a Bar/Line View in which I display this field. I aggregate by another field. In the aggregation I select to recalc the value of my new field using the formula - i.e. calculate the ratio of used amount/total amount for the aggregated values, and then display this in the view.
All works fine until I re-publish the Omniscope file below the blue box using a file Output block set to publish an IOK file. In the new, re-published IOK file, the display doesn't work? Surely formulas must survive the re-publishing process?]]>Outputs: Sequencing work flow order?

Wed, 28 Mar 2012 07:24:30 -0400jim.ledger1430@/discussions I'm having problems with a batch output that used to work, but no longer does. The problem appears to be in the string operator used in the filter rules... I have two rows where output fails with the following message:
Row 1: Invalid choice of operation: does not equal Row 2: Invalid choice of operation: does not equal
Below are the filter rules for Row 1 and Row 2, respectively, and I want the filter match to be 'All'
Row 1 : [Region]=[EMEA],[Agency]=[MyAgency],[Office]does not equal[Worldwide] Row 2 : [SubRegion]starts with[UK],[Agency]=[MyAgency],[Office]does not equal[Worldwide]
I tested it also with DOES NOT CONTAIN, and that doesn't work either.
I'm using Omniscope Server Plus, with v2.7b build 299 installed.

Tue, 20 Dec 2011 04:58:22 -0500Kiddo291175@/discussions I'm creating multiple IOK's from a batch file which I need password protected and domain locked. For some reason, even when I specify the IOK templates password in the batch file I get the message: "The password is not available".
Could you let me know where I'm going wrong?
Am i missing a column out in the batch file or is it just the password column needed? I checked that i had the correct password so that's not the problem. Also if I domain lock the template IOK's will that then filter down into the batch output iok's?
