I have some line charts with measures in the Y axis and dates running along the X axis. Unfortunately, there are a lot of dates, so even with minimum splits width within layout at its lowest setting, the Bar/Line charts don't fit on one screen (only just fits on three by scrolling).

I'd like to be able to demo these charts, and to be able to print them so that they display all on one page (currently if I print I get about 1/3 of it).

Graph views seem more suited to this, but I can't find a way to have two measures overlaid like I do in my attached file (let me know if there's a way).

See the simple attached file to see what I mean.

Thanks

In my case I have year/date dimension plotted on x-axis. The dataset has few data-points corresponding to year 1900 (this is due to config set on the source system), while the remainder/majority are around current date.
So the resultant view has markers plotted on the edges while the major portion in the middle sectrion is left blank.

Thanks!]]>

It seems that there a is an explanation in the website but it refers to the old version of Visokio so it's not very helpful.

Instead of showing my £355k - which I can see on the y-axis myself - is it possible to set it as another field? i.e. I want to show the Directors our most profitable products and those which contribute most to the business and talk through which these are, without having to click and go into every single one.

Being able to quickly hover and see it is "product X" would help massively in this top line overview

Thanks in advance, Michael]]>

Y axis is YoY change
X axis is SOV%

Size of bubble is the expenditure aggregated on a yearly basis

What would be perfect would be to have only the top ten brands shown depending on the filters on the side:

Category
Market
Gender
Focus Competitors

But it is empty when you try the filters.]]>

It would help a lot to understand patterns, and the more we could personalize that custom trendline, the best, if we could just put a formula, for example Y=5, that would create an horizontal line in the Y=5. Thank you, JfJf]]>

I have a Graph View showing amount of investment in each month of the year. The problem is, that in several months there were no investment and therefore there is no value for these months. Individual points are connected by line (as shown on attached image). In month 6,7 and 10 there are no investments (no values respectively) but the line goes directly from month 5 to month 8, instead of going to zero in 6 and 7. Same situation for month 10. I have ticked "Treat (no value) coordinate as zero" but it seems it has no effect...

BTW, filling missing months with value 0 into dataset manually is not an option, because I would have to do that for each possible combination of filters.

Thanks for advice, Michal]]>

I wanted to plot 3 lines graphs pertaining to same category in one single view. Since I couldn't categorise them seperately, I am using bar/line graph. However, there are certain things I need help with.

1. The bar line view only lets me plot the sum/median/mode etc of the measure I have selected. How I can plot the actual unique values?
2. How can I customise the Y axis values i.e. fix the intervals that I want for each graph.
3. How can I denote that the y axis value is in ($/tonne).
4. Below is a screen shot of one of the bar/line views. How can I hide the pane by measures in the present view. I do not want them to be visible after I distribute this file. I have attached a small screen shot of what I intend to hide.

Kindly help.

Attached is the file of such a data.

While this can be achieved using the Bar/line View which Thomas has already suggested, the Graph view because of it ability to just plot data without actually having to join the points and the ability to have a hover plot (my data is further subdivided and not as simple as shown in the file attached) is much more useful and should have similar capabilities.]]>

"Graph View. The most important information of a graph is What is the X axis and What is the Y axis. Currently, this information only shows up at the top left and bottom right corners. Users have complained that when printed, these are very hard to read.

The X and Y should be visible at the top of the view. Sales Per Quarter, Costs per Month etc....As the Title of the Graph Currently the only way to describe the graph is using the View Header. But this is static and each time you change the axis, you need to change the Header. Other views allow the user to use the measure selection AS the descriptive field.

Bar view: Measure Split by serve as a Title Heading of the Most important information about the Barview automatically. It would be nice to have the X and Y Axis configurable as a display within the Header of the View."
