Through the Tools menu, 4 features have been added:
  • Disable scrollbars : If enabled, the Web view will try to disable the embedded browser scrollbars when the web page has been completely loaded. The feature is not enabled by default.
  • Show statusbar : If enabled, the Web view will show the browser status bar. Not enabled by default.
  • Follow Highlight/Selection : If disabled, when the Web view is in Link or Web Service mode, it will not navigate to a different link/webservice ignoring the current highlight/selection. Enabled by default.
  • Provide 'omniscope' global object to scripts : If enabled, the WebView will pass the 'omniscope' global object to the scripts after the webpage has been loaded. Not enabled by default.

Max memory issue http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/1580/max-memory-issue Wed, 06 Jun 2012 08:41:38 -0400 alec_webliquid 1580@/discussions
I am trying out Omniscope on a new machine, using a trial license, and am puzzled by the maximum amount of memory it says is available (obtained by Help --> About --> Max memory). I am running 64-bit Omniscope on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, with 16GB RAM, however the amount available is only 1936MB and the performance of the program certainly reflects this. Surely it should default to 75% * 16GB = 12GB? This is a fresh install with no config options changed. I installed for all users. I had the same issue when trying it out on a virtual machine also.

Help and/or advice would be much appreciated!

Cheers]]>
Sources: ODBC connection crashes? http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2492/sources-odbc-connection-crashess Wed, 12 Mar 2014 06:27:00 -0400 Alexander 2492@/discussions
One of our clients is trying to connect to a ODBC Connection. When they hit the "connect" button. Omniscope closes and gives an error. Error messages just sent to Visokio.
They are using 2.8 b1216. ]]>
