Bar/Line View: Split by/Stack/Tile w/Tags & RegEx?

I have stacked/tiled a view & used "tags + RegEx" (instead of unique values) to re-categorise in the view.
This works fine, but then it appears to disable 'Active' filtering?

Clicking on any of the "new" categories (stack bars) does not create brushing effects in other views like it would happen in the case of default stacking of data bars.

It could be a wrong observation but apparently the issue tends to occur if the RegEx is edited after initial definition.

Thanks for posting the file. It appears the issue is there only when you're using part of the word e.g. ("Arsen|Liv"), but not "Liverpool", although this is still a substring of the whole value "Liverpool_GK".
We will investigate, but in the meantime please consider using this solution (inserting into the Regex syntax word up to underscore, here "Arsenal" OR
- applying a formula field,
OR
- using the Expand block in the DataManager (on a duplicated [Club_Position] field), so you can use the newly created values for stacking, tiling etc., while preserving the original.
