I am encoutering a bug in Omniscope. My source is a group of .xls files. In the configuration of the "Group Import" I have chosen the Omniscope reader option, as there is no Office installed on our server.
In the Excel files there are decimals, but Excel shows them as integers. Omniscope reads them as integers, instead of decimals.
When importing into the same Omniscope file on my local machine, I use the Excel direct reader option. Then the decimals are imported into the DataManager source block. Therefore, I assume that the problem is the Omniscope Reader. I am available for a screen share.

I want to filter a list contains a word " CLO " i.e with blank SPACE in front and back but Visokio won't let me do it, it uses "CLO" without spaces as the only input. Is there any wildcard character to do this??

Basically it seems to think there are fields missing when it comes to publish later in the flow.
Two of the fields aren't there as they are deleted further up in the flow however Keyword is a field present at the end.
There are no erroring formulas further up or warnings when run manually.
The error is pasted below:

Is this a known bug or something I've failed to notice?
Any ideas/help would be appreciated.
I found I can rebuild the offending flow from scratch exactly as before and this seems to remove the error (although it appears from a different flow and publish block).
Obviously I want to avoid having to rebuild the entire report block by block.
I would assume the blocks retain a certain amount of past configuration information as if I change a flow higher up and then change it back later it remembers some aggregate settings etc.
Could this be the issue and is there a way of clearing past configurations?

The support for embedded images in the Content View "native browser" hasn't been implemented.
Can we add support for them in there please? I did workaround for now as I have posted my pictures on the web and I am
using direct link,but this solutions is not ideal as it is not going to work offline.

Is there anyway to only preserve certain formulas downstream, I want to perform a formula on a aggregated field which is itself another formula. I realise this can be done through using two Field Organiser blocks, however I was hoping to keep things cleaner.

Ways in which this could work might be:
- Select all rows with company x where company x has a row using "roaming". But I can't see how.
- Do an aggregate in the data manager view which created a table with the right data. Unfortunately, I only seem to be able to get one dataset into Omniscope at a time. This seems like a crazy restriction so I guess I'm missing something.]]>

We can however run the webstart jnlp file with Java update 45 or lower.

We are having a stability issue with the scheduler, it stops suddenly and randomly aproximately once per day and we need to restart the service manually.
Please find attached the wrapper.log file at the moment the service crashes and the same log file when I restart the service manually. There is a warning during start that might be the cause of the problem but I am not sure how to fix it.

There are work-arounds but I was hoping for a more straight forward solution.

I can't get any of the 'color' options to perform the coloring the so that the mean portion and the maximum portion have different colors.

This is what our 'internal customers' are requiring now.
Alternatively, we can consider the idea to export only data in a pre-formatted Excel template file. Notice, however, that some tables (as the second included in the attached file) have a vertical development with a variable number of rows.
If such an export option exists, is it possible to have any example on how to implement it?

It looks like when aggregating 2 decimal numbers with more than 7 digits the sum loses some precision in an unexpected manner:
e.g. in the attached example 100,000.51 + 0.11 = 100,000.6 (see “loss of precision” block)
The rest of the blocks just show some examples that work.

Since updating to the latest version, I’m experiencing a sporadic problem publishing reports. This issue has never occurred before the latest update.
When I publish certain reports, I’m getting an error indicating that the file is in use by another program (see below).
This is only happening for some reports and some of the time. The file in question is only accessible to Omniscope, so there is no chance another program, like Excel, is actually using it.
Publishing outputs has failed whether automated on a Scheduler or updated manually, and whether there are one or multiple viewers. However, it also sometimes works under all of those conditions, so I’ve so far been unable to identify a pattern other than that this has only occurred since the update.
This is impacting some real-time reports in production. Please confirm receipt and advise as soon as possible.

We have a problem with a Visokio Server 2.8 (last build) installation. Temp files are generated in the temp folder and are never deleted, filling up the hard disk until being completly full and then preventing the visokio scheduler from working correctly.
There is no error in the server log file, files are published correctly, it is just that the temp iok file is not deleted..
