In a grouped table formulae can be calculated in as the grouping of the individual value calculated of each row, or as a function of the grouped values on the table. This property has to be set for all formulae at once. I do not want a Yes-No field but a Category field where I can select True and-or False.

trying to exclude a dataset in my visual.
Case: file consists of turnover per client per product.
Need to have a list of all unique products sold for all clients except for 4 clients.

I tried to use the Filtered Out feature, but can't get it to work.
Goal is to have a table view aggregated on the product.

Can you help?

I have added some formulae fields, deleted another, renamed etc.

When I refresh the source (via edit datasource) the app asks if I want to re-apply my field changes.
For some I do for some I do not want to. Unfortunately I can only chose all or none.
Can I somewhere manage what should be re-applied and what not?

My iok file contains a table based on buying orders by customers. A customers has multiple orders, so multiple records on the table.
My view shows the unique value count of the customer in stead of the orders, while the filter boxes show the number of table records.

Can I manipulate the counting in the filterboxes; so make it unique value count on customer in stead of record count?

I want to be able to model the impact of increasing the growth rates (by 1%, 2% etc) for certain countries and for certain products and then comparing the results.

I am trying to work on selecting the fields to display in the detail view pop-up such that the choice of fields displayed is conditional on a piece of data. I.e. For entry one (row 1) I want the detail view to bring in fields House Type, Location, Market Value if Field B (Asset Type) = Property (i.e. if in excel (1,2)=Property). If the asset type however is Cars (i.e. (1,2) = Cars), then display field Car Type, Registration etc. This is where my fields House Type, Location, Market Value.. Registration, Field B, are columns of data.


Does anyone know a way that this could be possible?

I want to be able to include standard text about individual countries and about individual products in field notes as we are not yet using an enterprise version where (to my understanding) this could be achieved by linking to local documents.

My questions are:

* how much text will a field note contain (entries may be up to half a page of A4)
* will it automatically appear for all instances of country = China, irrespective of what product it relates to
* is there a way to cut and paste pre- prepared text rather than typing in from new
* or am I going about this in completely the wrong way and have missed an easier option?

Another question this morning.

I looked everywhere, but didn't see where/how I can change colour of the text above and below bar charts. The reason why I'd like to do this is because, as you can see via the link below, that I've imported a [background] image that renders the default text colour nearly invisible. Any way, in this example, that I can change the text colour to white?

What is the most effective way for me to use my UK iok file as a template for all of my other country files?

These files will be updated in the future, so I want to be able to retain links.

(1) Is the best way to filter a field on abs(field)>0 to create another formula field as abs(field) and filter on that greater than zero?

(2) Let's say I had a money field with a low of 0 and a high of 1000. Then I used the slider to set a lower bound of 5. If I save that filter and then refresh my data, which happens to have a record whose money value = 1100, would that new record be included or excluded when I select my saved filter?

In my mind I'm thinking "money>=5" but based on the way queries are exported, it seems like Omniscope is thinking , because 1000 was the highest value at the time the query was saved. But I want "money>=5".

I have a file with a Date column populated with dates/times in this format: 2009052500 = Year Month Date Hour.

I tried to reformat to yyyyMMddHH and yyyyMMddhh, but neither worked.

Any ideas?

I'm pretty certain that I heard or read that v2.5 gives some way of showing the differences between two data sets, so if it's not the pivot view I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
