Rather than edit the source block each time I add a new one, is there a way to search the file and locate where the data starts based on a cell marker (a cell value which remains constant throughout all of the files) and use this as the new data table.

For example, if the data contained a field called [Week] which was populated by a value [50] for the current file being processed. In the output block you could then specify the file name to be something like:
"Weekly data for week(s)" + SUBSET_UNIQUESLIST([Week]) = [Weekly data for week(s) 50.iok]

It would be much easier if a resize-box could appear around the image so we could re-size it according to the needs of the dashboard... something similar to Microsoft Office or other software where you are able to freely manipulate the size of the image within the software. I've been asked a few times if it's possible in Omniscope to invert the y-axis on the charts - specifically the Bar/line and graph views.

Just wondering if this would be useful for anyone else and if it might be considered for future releases.

Is there any way to include page breaks in the table so that when I output PDF/PowerPoint the tab PDF/PowerPoints each page break, i.e. so the table in PDF/PowerPoint results in many PDF/PowerPoint slides, each slide being a different page break on the table.

While Omniscope already has a Map View which can depict flows, the design of the Network CView is much better and an add on functionality for handling cordinates and plotting/fixing to a map in background whould be extremely useful.

I would like to propose two things:

1.) It should be possible to export a defined custom XML Style file directly from an unlocked IOK file and automatically import/save it to the local installation...no need for others to have privileges to look and copy directly in installation files and circulate XML files to everyone by email attachment.

2.) Custom colour ranges and related colour picker default pallette options should be added to the Style schema in the XML style file, such that these settings can also be automatically exported to the local installation from any unlocked IOK Report file.

I have to say that most of the reports required are tables of various format; considering this I'm particularly interested in tryint to exploit all the table view features.

I have no problem in getting the required data but unfortunaltely I have to say that it seems to me that at the moment there are many graphical formatting limitations.
I've read other discussions about this needs and I'd like to know it these issues are solved or if they will be considered in future releases.

In particular I think it will be useful to have the possibility to:

- insert a table title including variable parts (such as formulas) or logos;
- format column headers (changing column header color and font, centering headers);
- have table headers based on multiple rows and different disposition (like the colspan and rowspan html command) including also descriptions and not only column data headers;
- apply format to reported values (including different date and numbers representation - es: apply /1,000,000);
- apply format to columns (centering values, representing negative values in red or between brackets, ....);
- ....

At the moment the only way I've found to make a table applying some of these features is to create a Content view and produce the table using scripting, but I would really like to be able to do the same without programming.

1) To retrieve data from today and a previous date - have a single parameter that is "Current date" and a second parameter that is a function of the Current date parameter to get the historic date. This could be worked round in the SQL or other query, but is more effeicient to be able to have the query just select data from the two dates and the calculation done elsewhere

2) Embed the parameter in a filename to open a file - date or sequence number embedded in the filename or path.
