]]>I'm currently working with some data in the new and improved "Tag view" (which is very nice!). However, I'd like to be able to exclude selected words from this visualisation without removing the entire records.
Attached is a screenshot of an example tag view. This uses a twitter feed in DataManager to look at the tweets from the official Twitter account (@twitter). What we would like to do is be able to exclude some of these words like "http", "https" and the like as they are not relevant to what we're trying to analyse. I have tried selecting these words and moving them out, but this removes the entire line (tweet) rather than just the words selected.
Is it possible to add this functionality? Possibly by allowing users to edit the "common words" list that are ignored (in the menu Fields -> Options -> Ignore common words)?

This is not an Omniscope idea, but instead one for the forums/Visokio website. I have been trying recently to recruit another experienced Omniscope user and am finding it remarkably hard to find the right person. It also occurs to me that while Omniscope is an awesome tool, it is not widespread, and so I imagine that there are some users who would like to move job but are having a similarly difficult time finding a position that will suit their talents. If you are one of these people by the way, send me a private message :)
Therefore, I would like to propose the creation of a jobs board. It can only be a good thing for the Omniscope community as a whole if its members are more able to find and take advantage of opportunities as they arise, and if people such as myself are able to find and recruit the staff they need.

Just wondering if two small adjustments could be implemented in Omniscope. In the function list, the "Unique value count" is (for me) on of the most used functions. But this function is not in the 'commonly used' functions list.
And could all blocks be collapsed on the left side? Now the sources and feeds are shown when opening.

And Parent A tab has 3 sub-tabs and B has 4 sub-tabs.

In 2.8 the bar views comes automatically with a rowlabel that shows the measures used in the view.
This uses a lot of space in the view.

Would it be possible to implement functionality to process scheduler XML files in the order that they are copied to the watch folder? I have my processes set up in a sequential, multi-file structure, similar to the way you advise for the .iok files themselves. I would love to be able to copy all my XML files to the watch folder at once and trust that they will be processed in the correct order. Currently, I have to do it in two lots as there is no guarantee it will happen this way.
I am aware I could write more XML files which deal with all of my .iok files at once, and I may do so in the short term, but this is still something I would very much like to see if possible.
Is this request feasible?

Due the number of formulae involved and the large amount of data managed, our model file needs to work in Manual Calculate mode,
We think there currently exist three Calculation Modes:
- 1) Automatic (with the Skip Option or Total option when start the mode, the Omniscope acts in automatic).
- 2) Recalculate all....
- 3) Recalculate only formula you have selected first....
...only the options 1 and 2 can avoid coherence problems of calculated data.
We prefer the first one, but only for select the Skip (saltar) option and then we need to deactivate the automatic calc. (for navigation and data entry problems), as it is a bit complex if you are making simulations, the user don't like so much the solution.
Could I suggest to create a new option. Manual option that use the Skip option only for one time and after the calcul process return to manual calcul mode?.
Also, we need a Warning that help the user to see in what Calcul mode is working, because the navigation and data entry times change dramatically between two mode settings.

I have a dataset which has a country field in it (about 50 countries). I basically filter my dataset (about 1m rows) per country and then create an IOK file for each country based upon a template. I use the batch block output in DataManager out had an idea for a new output block. It would basically combine a record filter and an output block. You would select one column to split the data by and it would create an one output file for as many items in that category that was split and create a file name based upon a mask (similar to the timestamp mask) and then append the split name to the end of the mask.
eg - Split by: [Source Country]
File mask: Country Detail File -
Template: Country Detail File Template.iok
Output Type: IOK/IOM
This would have less functionality than the batch output but would enable much quicker splitting of data files into multiple files.
If you think its a good idea, would be happy to discuss further

Instead of showing my £355k - which I can see on the y-axis myself - is it possible to set it as another field? i.e. I want to show the Directors our most profitable products and those which contribute most to the business and talk through which these are, without having to click and go into every single one.
Being able to quickly hover and see it is "product X" would help massively in this top line overview

Is there any way to include page breaks in the table so that when I output the tab to PDF/PowerPoint the sections between each page break are printed? i.e. the table is output to PDF/PowerPoint as however many PDF/PowerPoint slides.. each slide being a different page break section in the table?
