Export: Cut and Paste from Table View to Excel

The result obtained is in picture 2: as you can see, when copied to Excel, the detail rows mantain the correct numeric and percentage format while Total rows are not interpreted correctly: they are text and no more numeric values.

Our users need to use cut-and-paste because they would like to export also the total rows and these rows are not exported in Excel when the export function in admin menu is used.

Is there a solution to this problem? Why are the total rows are handled in a different way then detail rows? ]]>

Versions: Funnel charts and Radar View in web browser versions 2.9+?

Currently, a Bar/Line View set up as a Funnel chart doesn't display correctly in web browser version. Same goes for the Radar View as a whole.

Are these generally not supported in HTML5 browser version or are there plans to make them available soon?

Export: changing character set in database output?

First of all, the best wishes for 2015!

We use a DataManager workflow that publishes data into a database table. Based on the situation, we adjust the publication setting (Insert, Update, etc). Special tokens like ü, ë and é are being saved incorrectly in the database.

Therefore we would like to manually adjust the charset that Omniscope uses to publish database tables.

Can you advise how this can be configured?]]>

Bar/Line View: Daily sales compared month on month?

I have a bar chart displaying all day of the month 1,..,31 on the x-axis and sales value on y-axis. I would like to split the bar chart and have two bars per day where one bar displays the current month, that is latest loaded month, and the other bar displays last/previous month sales. All other months are not of interest.

Example of my data structure:

Date, YearMonth, Year, Month, Day, Sales Amount

Any suggestions on how to do this?

I'm new to Omniscope. Is there a way to load only the first 1000 top rows of a file? When developing/testing and I don't want to work with the complete file. At the moment, I'm working with a .csv file that contains 1,4M rows just for one month and it takes forever to load this.

Filtering: automatically hide all empty colums in Table View

I would like to be able to automatically hide all columns which are left completely empty or full of zeros by the query currently in use in table view. For small numbers of columns it would be possible to manually hide columns, but ideally they would be dynamically hidden and restored as I changed the query (i.e. if I was changing the query/filters in such a way that unpopulated and repopulated certain fields).

If this is not possible, being able to select something like 'automatically hide this particular column if it's empty' would help.

Please let me know if such a feature already exists.

This is similar to an idea raised a couple of years ago (http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/comment/6796/#Comment_6796), but nothing from that thread seems to help me.

Clients that use Omniscope mobile, are "kicked out" after 15 min inactivity.
We think this is a good feature, yet we have some users that would like stay logged in for a longer period.

Can we disable this function? Of adapt the time slot?

I meet real concerns to launch Omniscope since my Mac since the update YOSEMITE

I installed different versions of Omniscope whose last (S9u2bp7042x188b) and it does not start, or very difficult, and very often plant by completely blocking when I get to start after complete restart Mac only.

My mac: Version 10.10.1 (14B25)
2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4 GB DDR3 1067 MHz

Performance: 64 GB RAM Server does not release memory to OS?

We have a server with 64GB RAM running Omniscope server 2.9.
During one of the tasks, memory peaks at 98%. After this task we run a diagnostics task, but memory is not released.

The performance of the Server and other Omniscope instances is slow, as the RAM keep showing up to 90%.

Filtering: Dynamic record counts on filtered data?

I have a large dataset of 400k records over 12 months, by supplier, by product, by outlets. What I would like to get to is "Product A is in 50% of the outlets, over 12 months. However in August it was in 80%" from the dataset.

I can separate out the data in a chart that ranks the products by volume top to bottom over the past 12 months. I have used Unique_Count to get the number of outlets that are stocking Product A which is great but I want to divide this number by the total number of outlets in the dataset and have it change if I was to select one month, or 2 months (i.e. filter).

Import: Reading in value "unknown"?

We are feeding data into Omniscope from an excel file.

Some of the fields have options- yes/no/unknown

For some reason when we input the data the answers "unknown" are being deleted and treated as not answered so we cannot see which fields are really empty and which answered with "unknown".

Is there some kind of setting that we can change so that we get the answer Unknown in the Omnisope file?

Filtering: Creating categories from start and end dates?

I have no experience of using date fields and need help.

Specifically, I have various types of chemotherapy that have a start date and an end date.
I need to be able to determine in which quarter a specific chemo took place. And really need separate fields for each quarter a bit like yes/no fields, as I split my data by quarters.

EG a chemo started on 01.02.2014 and ended on 14.09.2014 would be categorised in Q1, Q2 & Q3 but not in
Q4.

I have looked at buckets but can't seem to get my head around it.

Can anyone help please??
