I am just wondering if it is possible to reorder words in a string.

I have a string consisting of various substances (a,b,c & other etc) listed alphabetically. I have just replaced "other" with the substance specified in another field. The problem now is that the list is not in alphabetical order, which is important for us.

Is there any way of getting the substances back in alphabetical order? For example by expanding them and then collapsing them again alphabetically?

I would be grateful for any ideas.

A machine which had a license activated has died. We're wanting to activate this key on the replacement machine but we're unable to do, the activation routine returns "SERVER-CODE 5718 - Your key is already in use".

Is there any other way to de-activate the key so that we can activate on the new machine?

I have set-up a job to pull information from different Salesforce tables, combine and then publish this data. The template works and the data is updated and published as expected however when I try to schedule the task it shows the attached warning.

Oddly the data is still published when the task is tested but the job will not run when scheduled. I have also set-up an email notification for when this chain action fails however I am not sent an email even though this process has also been tested.

Any suggestion on how I can get this to update daily as needed?

Is there any way of hiding columns that show no value in the Chart view?

I can hide no values in the side bar filters but when I split by these fields the no value always appears as a big ugly column
and it is not possible to deselect "no value" as this would affect other paramters.

I have been working in the analysis mode and have yes/no/unknown fields in yellow blue and grey.

When I switch to my customised dashboard preset the colours for these fields change to very crass red, green and grey.

Is there any way to standardise these colours in my dashboard preset mode to be the same as in the analysis mode?
Or do I have to go into the individual fields and pick the colours?

We have a project where we are sent text files of raw data with no header row and we get a separate file which has the column headers in. I need to append the column headers to the top of the raw data so I can use it. I don't want to put a field organiser and manually go through and add the column names The assumption is that the order in the headers file is in the same order as the data.

Has anybody done this before and how did you get over it? I have attached a method I'm looking at but ideally I don't want to have to write out a file and read it back in again (especially as the files are in excess of 2million rows).

I am struggling to get a bar/line view in mobile as desired. I am using 2 measures, and I would like them to overlay as bars.
Hope this is possible, next to that I do not want labels for every measure in this view, but they stay visible in mobile.

How is the language of Omniscope mobile determined?
My machine is running on locale settings (Dutch), browser(Chrome) is in Dutch.
The IOK file is saved in locale settings (Dutch).
Still my date sliders says "to" instead of "tot".

I have a series of DataManager blocks and at near the end of the series i am joining various streams of blocks together by a merge

Whenever i update the merge (either by changing the join criteria, adding fields etc) the whole upstream data gets refreshed in all the other blocks.

Is there any way to stop this, i do not want it to refresh data when nothing has changed, I just want to update with my new fields in the join criteria

Each block is using "Replace Data" and "Excel Direct".

My problem is that when exporting the data it sometimes creates a new worksheet for the export instead of exporting to the excel file on Sharepoint.

For instance i have one Omniscope file and i have three (3) blocks exporting to the same Excel file on Sharepoint. These blocks sometimes export to the Excel file and sometimes create their own new Excel file.

I have looked at version history on Sharepoint and for instance the first two block publish ok and then the last block will just publish to a newly created Excel file and save it on Sharepoint.

The Facebook connector is not currently working in Omniscope, and as such is unavailable for the time being.

Facebook recently changed their permission model, meaning all applications need to apply to Facebook in order to access information such as user details and insights. We are in the process of applying for this, however the process is complex and may take some time.

Unfortunately we do not have a contact at Facebook who is able to speed up this process, however if you do have a contact and are able to help us with this please get in touch.

I will provide an update when there is any news.

For one of our clients we need to construct 3D images. Per object we'll receive 6 2D images and together these build up to one 3d image. As the number of objects will be very large we don't want to do this manually and need software that automates this process for us.


Does anyone have have experience with this? Do you recommend software we can try?

Omniscope is tolerant of much greater system clock changes than one second. Additionally it is a Java based application and the current versions of Omniscope use a recent version of Java, which has been patched to include fixes for leap seconds on all supported platforms.

I wonder if anyone has come across this? To make charts more engaging to an audience, I want to spell out the message to them. So I have some data that has 2015 vs 2014, and what I want to do is have a label within these bars showing the values - easy enough.

Where I get stuck though is trying to show a Variance/Difference formula value that shows the difference between the 2 bars in the chart.

Attached is an image of my chart (with no labels). In summary, I don't want to show the difference formula purple bar, but I do want to show it's value in between the green and blue bars.

Any help would be great, if this is not possible than maybe an idea in the future as most dashboards I see have this as a view.
