Export: File security and export to Excel options

Export to Excel is possible in case a user has a paid license on Omniscope.
When opening an iok file via Java webstart, the Viewer that opens doesn't provide the export option.
This is normal behaviour, but it would be very useful to enable us to give users with a paid license the export functionality in the web start viewer.

We often get this question and cannot deliver as we use webstart.

Just sending the iok file directly would solve the problem, but then we loose control over our file. In addition we monitor the usage of webstart and we loose this as well when sending the file directly.

Is there anything you can do to help?

I have preserve output in formulas turned on in the block where I've created the formula referencing the variable to accomodate for the variable.

Is it possible to FREEZE the value of the variable in one view and hav it still be dynamic in the second? I've tried a query, but the query doesn't seem to capture the value fo the variable. ]]>

2.7 Map Files Inport own map

In map viewer however it only accepts ilf,vec,map files ...Is there any way they can accept pdf files or a method i can use to convert pdf to one of the acceptable map files.

subset_UniqueCount behaviour

I am using the subset_uniquecount function as follows

subset_uniquecount (field1,subset(field2,"value")) where value is the value which defines the subset and field 1 is the field to "UNIQUE on".

The behaviour that i'm seeing is that it appears to unique the entire data set BEFORE it evaluates the subset but than only returns the values that were unique in the subset. I want the UNIQUE to be performed on the subset giving me values that are unique in the subset, not in the larger set . Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems the order of operations should evaluate from inside out, which doesn't appear to be the case. What am I missing?]]>

I think I know the answer, but its nice to be able to make changes directly in the tables (which are largely sourced from excel) and then have those reflected in the various views. I suspect that the only way to do this would be to create a table and export it back to Excel (the solution I came up with). Other thoughts/ideas?]]>

I know there is an option in the Scheduler that automates the XML Actions file, however if you drop the xml into the Scheduler manually or through a separate automated file writing process.. I have a urgent case about one of my report which i was publishing as a database table so i was able to use whenever i want till friday.. Now when i try to update or open it it gives below error.
"Not enough disk space"..

And this is really key report for me, now i m not able to update it so do other reports related with this report. ]]>

Datamanager issue "Field name already exists"

"Field with name "33" already exists, cannot rename"

I do not have a field named 33 and when I have used the exact same DM on b112, this error is not there. I have tried a couple of other builds (191, 182) and both of these are throwing out the same problem.

Can anyone explain this problem to me?]]>
