In Visokio Server I updated some images of a iok file (embeded images, like company logos), and I can see them ok. Then I publish the iok and open it on another machine and I still see the old images.
I tried to "clear online ressource cache" unsuccessfully.

What do I have to do?

  1. Access to the connector API. We need to ensure that the API uses technologies that are compatible with Omniscope. Most do, but some could stand improvement, which we can discuss with the data vendor.

  2. An initial set of requirements. The requirements should contain an overview of how the Connector should work and what data it should generate. An example specification might be something like:

    "At the top of the Connector the user enters their username and password. The user then selects an account. The user selects a report. The reports initially provided are 'Timeline', 'Cost analysis', 'Custom'. If the user selects the 'Custom' report the user can select a series of metrics/dimensions. Finally the user clicks the 'Execute' button to get the report data."

  3. Access to a test account. We need to test the Connector with realistic fully populated data sets while we are developing it.

  4. An end user contact. During new Connector development, we may have questions about the functionality that are not covered in the initial requirements. We need an end user contact who can answer these questions and provide feedback during the development cycle.

  5. A technical contact. We need access to the data vendor API developer who can provide assistance should we encounter any problems with the API.

  6. We may need justification/motivation for developing the connector, such as external funding, or significant demand/votes posted on the Forum by existing and potential licensees.

I've recently started to tweek a iok i created a while back using the facebook API.
For some reason allot of the metrics i used when initially setting up the iok file using facebook API have gone missing.

Any reason why this has happened?

Two metrics in particular that i'm looking for are 'Fans by Country' & 'Fans by gender' but as i said they are no longer available.

If you could provide any info on how to get them or why they are no longer available that would be great.

I have created a stacked bar graph and would like to put the measure value labels (in this case %) on top of each bar but not inside the stack as I already have a label for the stacks. However, I cannot find a way of stopping the labels inside the stack. It looks very cluttered at the moment.

Can anyone tell me how to restrict the measure labels to just show at the top of bars and not inside them too.

I have written a formula to calculate weightings for institutions in specific regions. It involves 12 nested if functions as we have 4 regions and 3 institution types.

Each record is weighted by a fixed number (dependent on institution and region) which is then divided by the number of records for that institution type in that region. Please see formula below.

I now need to append more time periods but my recordcount is counting all records for all periods. How can I limit the recordcount to the same time period as the record it is calculating without the formula becoming a monster.

Effectively I want to repeat the formula below for each timeperiod and could do it in the source files, however, I would prefer to find a solution in Omniscope

Any ideas much appreciated!

I have a general question about what happens to formulas in Data Manager.

At the moment I choose the function "formula result" when I create formulas, but am not really sure when another function might be appropriate.

In addition to this, can anyone tell me if all formulas are converted to static values when depivoting as seems to be the case or if it depends on what data you are depivoting.

The benefit would be that mobile personnel could carry just one key device and then work on any machine where Omniscope is installed with their full suite of license privileges but only so long as the key is present in the device and a PIN entered.

I am trying to create a graph to show the number of patients seen by doctors in different regions and institutions. I would like to be able to set my own ranges i.e. 1-20, 21-40, 41-80, >80. I can't seem to find anywhere where you can set these ranges - I am only allowed fixed range sizes.

In addition to this, I would like to show the results in percentage of doctors not absolute values, which does not seem possible in the chart view.

In the bar view I can select the 100% bars but the axis doesn't change to reflect %.

I would be grateful for any help.

In my example, in tab “2” I want to view the data of relevant countries. Everything would work perfectly if knew which countries are always relevant (this changes by data actualization). Thus, I created a new variable: “relevance”.

My problem is, that if I hide the “relevance” device in the right side bar in the tab “1” and then switch from tab “2” to tab “1”, a warning: “data has been edited, click here to re-apply these filters” appears and the smaller “data universe” is shown, unless I re-apply the filters manually.

Do you know the solution?

Is there an easy way to create a new field that shows me the % of column for an existing variable. What I'm trying to do seems simple enough - take a variable value and divide by the total for that variable and show as a %age.

Eg:

Col-1, Col-2, Col-3
Name, Value, "% of Value"
A, 40, 20%
B, 100, 50%
C, 20, 10%
D, 40, 20%

Can't figure out how to do this.. must be missing something!
