I am trying to get a count of all unique names in my depivoted series. The function SUBSET_UNIQUECOUNT set to MEAN value works well until I use a filter on my data.

In my case I have 20 depivoted fields and get the number 20 when I do not use filters. However, if I use a filter that effectively reduces the number of unique names in my series I still get the number 20!!

Is there any way around this?

The main reason I am trying to do this is to get a sum from a field that has not been depivoted - at present after depivoting my sum is 20 times the original value - dividing by 20 is ok as long as noone uses a filter. Hence I thought dividing by SUBSET_UNIQUECOUNT would solve this problem.

Maybe there is a far easier solution that I am overlooking.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to see if a text string starts with a number. eg:

Code
12000000
42000000
A3411231
65133DE1

So I am using Left([Code], 1) and using an OR to see if it is 0-1:

OR(Left([Code], 1) =1, Left([Code], 1) =2, Left([Code], 1) =3, Left([Code], 1) =4.......

is there a shortcut??

eg

BETWEEN(Left([Code], 1), 1, 9) or similar?

I am trying to invert the values on my Y-Axis so that instead of going from 0 through to 20 (for example) it reads 20 going up to 0.

Is there any way to do this simply similar to the checkbox in excel graph options?

I would like to show the active filters in bold on some of my views. Visikio support suggested using a content view with a function set to unique values list for the chosen field. I tried to do this but Uniques values list has disappeared from my options under functions.

I think this issue has been raised before, but is their any way of setting the scale and limits of axes individually or is it planned for a new release? At the moment Visokio sets the axes automatically - sometimes setting higher limits would help prevent overlapping labels.

Another issue to point out is that in Germany noone understands the K abbreviation for 1,000s and though I can stop automatic number abbreviations on the graphs I cannot stop them on the axes.

I have created an IOK file with defined category colours throughout using

Data > Manage fields > Options> Value colouring

However, when I publish this file in DataManager via an output block to another IOK file, using 'current configuration', all the colours return to default?

No data is changing, I am just user-locking the file.

How do I preserve the colour settings - any help would be great thanks

About refreshing data in iok files, I understood that only registered copies of Omniscope can perform it (on opening or on-demand). The only way to make available refreshed data to unregistered viewers is to save and distribute updated iok files with a registered Omniscope (or save the iok file on a shared directory where unregistered viewers can read it directly).

Using registered Omniscope Desktop Edition it's also possible to use 'automatic refresh' for updating data in real time, but only when the IOK file to be refreshed is open in Omniscope (and these updates are still not visible to unregistered viewers till the file is saved).

If I understood right, with Desktop Edition it's not possible to schedule a 'massive' data refresh when iok files are not used (for example during the night in a way to have them updated and available for viewers next morning). The scheduled updating procedure and live refresh to free Viewers is only available in Server Editions?

Please, can you give me a confirmation of all this or let me know if there are some possibilities not indicated above? We would like to create a scatter graph with total income on the Y axis and EC on the X axis. Where the value on the axis is limited, without losing the outliers (what happens when using the zoom function).

Is there a way to only show a specific part of your data set and show all the outliers on the max of your range?

In the IOK file, we have a list of values that is loaded into the blue Omniscope block. The Omniscope block leads to the email output block. The recipient recieves a mail with the Omniscope block as an attachment.

With the API there are 2 metrics under page engagement, checkins by country and checkins by locale. Is it possible for you guys to add in the equivalent of checkins by city? It exists in the insights page but doesn't seem pull-able via omni atm - is that because it doesn't exist in the API?

I have more than 30 reports to update and share with our managers everyday. but if any problems occurs, it s really difficult to find where the problem is and difficult to understand how long it takes to update and the time it starts to update etc..
