The boundaries I am looking for are from the NUTS regional classifications in Europe such as the ones given here:
http://epp.eurostat.ec.europa.eu/portal/page/portal/gisco/geodata/reference by selecting the "Administrative units/Statistical units"
The idea is to be able to use these map boundaries in conjunction with heat mapping so that defined areas can be coloured for a set of numerical variables.
An Example I would like to be able to emulate:

http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/1149/layout-sub-tab-groupingss
Wed, 07 Dec 2011 05:11:56 -0500TomW1149@/discussions By this I mean that when I click on the current tab structure, below that a further set of options are available, e.g. I have one tab that is Buzz and below that I am then given the options of Facebook, Twitter, General etc. When you click on any of these sub-tabs a new page appears with this information in rather than having to click on the device bar. These sub tabs would change depending on the top tab you select.
Is this possible or is there a way that something similar can be done with Macro type set up? i.e. can I put a line of queries along the top of the tab?

Tue, 16 Apr 2013 17:41:14 -0400daniel2094@/discussions I've tried using the XML mapping input block and also to manually split up the data into Omniscope but I seem to be missing the objects and block types you would get if you put them into say CityEngine (see image). It is therefore difficult to group up all the various lines of data into the right subgroups.
Obviously this exercise is much more GIS orientated but in the example attached I am accessing the lat/long values so they can be mapped as points, I'm just having problems with the data structure in grouping and the tags.

Thu, 04 Apr 2013 09:07:03 -0400cpvk2082@/discussions I have a question on the function RUNNINGTOTAL, and wondering if anyone could help.
I want to add Sales cash cumulatively by week for a particular SKU/Year combination.
I have the following formula in a field called "Cumulative Spend"
So this adds by year/SKU, but not in the right week order. I've tried to do a sort on the data-set to help. But was wondering if there was a smarter way. I have just downloaded the latest 2.8 version this morning.
Basically, it sort of works, but it doesn't add in Week order. Is there any way to make this happen?

http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2087/scheduler-multiple-instances-running-many-taskss
Tue, 09 Apr 2013 06:04:13 -0400Alexander2087@/discussions We are having trouble with a rather strange problem within our Schedulers. On our server we have 4 Scheduler instances running simultaneously. The last few weeks some tasks that are scheduled were not started, and in the log these tasks do not appear at all.
Last week we thought we discovered a pattern in this problem. As we schedule many tasks rapidly after each other, the queue builds up. I think that when Omniscope is using a lot of RAM, this queue is forgotten. Another plausible reason could be that “garbage collection” or “diagnostics ”actions also delete this queue.
The problem is that we cannot recreate the situation, but when it happens, this problem obviously disturbs our processes.
We solved the problem in one particular situation by leaving more time between the different tasks in order to avoid accumulating a queue of undone tasks.
Hope you guys can explain how the queue works and what reasons could be causing this problem? Thanks! ]]>Refresh: Update all blocks vs Update from Source?
http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/2077/refresh-update-all-blocks-vs-update-from-sources
Tue, 02 Apr 2013 07:02:01 -0400Alfonso2077@/discussions The experiment was, open the IOK without data and refill it using the standard method suggested in the documentation.
Preparation:
- Open a IOK file (wich is connected to a Mysql server Database) without data (tools/advanced/debugging/open without data). As result the model is empty (the model has up to 500.000 rows). - Database updtate connection for each block (up to 10 different blocks) is configured as update when needed, It is checked and works well.
Test1: When the IOK without data opened I inserted CTRL F5 (update from source) and after a while it only bring up 12.000 rows.
Test2: Then I pushed the icon in the tool bar of datamanager tab, called 'update all', as after a huge time (up to 1/2 hour) the result was up to 500.000 rows.
I'm wondering what I do wrong, because the standard user workflow is CTRL F5 seems not guarantee the correct upto date of my model.
Please could you help me to understand the correct way to users can refresh data in autonome mode and what is the difference between two methods?.
Thanks in advance,

Wed, 20 Mar 2013 05:14:09 -0400grahamb2065@/discussions For instance, say there as an analysis breaking down sales territories by sales and customers. The user would first define a map (or chart, table, etc.) showing all sales people territories, with customer markers etc. They would then activate split file to auto group by sales person. They would then have the option to either auto generate new tabs - each showing a specific sales territory map and customers and analysis relating to that territory - and/or generate multi-page output, without needing further selection. ]]>Analytics: Recency Frequency Value?
